(2) The fuel dispenser belt must be replaced with a genuine belt specially designed for the fuel pump, or a belt with specifications specified by the dispenser factory.

(3) If the belt is damaged during abnormal use, look for causes other than the belt, and replace the belt after eliminating peripheral causes.

Fault characteristics:

(5) Failure analysis

  • The oil and gas separation component of the dispenser is faulty.
  • The oil return valve cannot be opened

  • The oil pressure in the pipeline is high, and the float and oil return valves are malfunctioning.

  • The oil pump pipeline is laid too shallowly, causing the pipeline temperature to rise and the oil to expand when the weather is hot.

  • The power supply switch of the dispenser has poor contact.
  • The grounding wire of the fuel dispenser is not standardized or not connected properly.
How to avoid such failures:

(1) Do not frequently cause power outages to the fuel dispenser. Even if it is not used at night, try not to have power outages. Frequent power outages will reduce the service life of the internal battery of the fuel dispenser.

(2) The grounding wire of the fuel dispenser should be as thick as possible. The standard is a multi-stranded copper wire of more than 4 square millimeters.

(3) When the voltage is unstable, try not to power or refuel the dispenser.

(4) The power supply switch of the fuel dispenser must be genuine.

(5) Try not to use communication equipment and other large electrical equipment with the fuel dispenser.

4. The gas pump horn keeps beeping

Fault characteristics:

(1) The gas pump horn keeps sounding.

(2) The dispenser horn sounds periodically.

Failure analysis:

(1) The first fault occurs, which may be:

  • The keyboard is soaked in water or stuck.
  • Water enters the keyboard plug.

  • The power supply line of the oil pump is not standardized.
  • The oil pump travel switch is in abnormal condition.

  • The dispenser is in an alarm state.
