Hydrogen energy and electricity are both new energy sources and now the two energy vehicles are developing, why is hydrogen energy less popular than new energy trams?
The first is the safety issue, transportation, and storage have received strict conditions, under the existing conditions, there is certainly no stability of electricity, and China’s electric energy in the local area or surplus.
1. The tram battery is now easy to use, the research and development speed is also up, and the cost of materials is reasonable
2. Hydrogen as a spare tire, from manufacturing to transportation to storage, there is no great leap forward breakthrough in research and development, and the relevant industrial chain cannot keep up with the slow development.
But the slow development does not mean that it is not doing, the new energy industry leaders, whether it is doing photovoltaic, power transmission and transformation, as long as it involves new energy, are committed to the development of diversified new energy, photovoltaic, wind power, biological power generation, hydrogen energy, energy sites.
Hydrogen car needs two kinds of devices, one is a hydrogen engine, the second is a gas storage battery, these two things are relatively small cars, and weight and storage are a very big burden, and not suitable for use in small cars, small cars do not have so many positions to spin these two big guys, can only be used in some large trucks, sweeping, sprinklers, buses and other vehicles. If the volume of the gas storage battery can be compressed again in the future, it may be installed on the car.
It is not that hydrogen energy vehicles are not popular, but the level of technological development and the construction degree of application are not enough for large-scale application, so most people have not yet been exposed to it.
We will also see some cases on the Internet based on “old facts” to criticize hydrogen energy, but this does not mean that hydrogen energy vehicles should be pessimistic. Technology is constantly evolving. As a secondary energy source, hydrogen energy is extremely clean and can achieve low or even no carbonization. In the future, the green + hydrogen energy structure will also play a very important role in achieving the dual-carbon goal.
While there are various voices in society, the hydrogen industry (not just the automotive industry) believes in the infinite possibilities of the future. Vigorously promote the development of hydrogen energy technology, and build an integrated industrial chain ecology of “production-storage-transport-add-application”, such as 70MPa IV bottles, 70MPa high-pressure bottle valves, high-performance membrane electrodes, and so on, independently developed in China. In addition, China has also launched a full-scene solution for the car-scale “hydrogen power system” – hydrogen lime technology, and now there are “100 hydrogen energy heavy truck demonstration projects” to help the construction of some areas in China.
In addition, in 2022, China also issued the “Medium and Long-Term Plan for the Development of Hydrogen Energy Industry (2021-2035)” to promote the standardized and orderly development of China’s hydrogen energy industry. All this shows the important role of hydrogen energy in the future, and we look forward to the arrival of a beautiful hydrogen society as soon as possible.
At present, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are used for private cars, and many fatal injuries cannot be solved, fatal physical injuries such as flammable and explosive, basement leakage will gather on the roof, hydrogenation needs buffer time (defrosting or cooling, corresponding to different hydrogenation technologies), and transportation costs are high. In special scenarios, hydrogen energy has more advantages and can dissolve these physical injuries.
